Tahirul Qadri says PML-N govt will not remain in power beyond August

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said on Sunday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will not remain in power beyond August. 

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, he said “the state of the people of Pakistan is worse than that of dogs in the western world.”

Addressing the people of United States, Britain and Europe, Qadri stated that “if a ruler shot a dog in any of those countries, he would surely go to jail but here 14 people were killed and 90 others were injured [in the Model Town clashes] and yet an FIR has not been registered.”

Qadri also announced that Youm-e-Shuhada will be held on August 10 to honor the deceased.
